President of Cale Realty Company since 1976, Hatcher attended Chowan College and graduated from Christopher Newport University with a degree in Business Administration.
In 1993 he was the first recipient of the Outstanding Alumni Award from Christopher Newport University – College of Business and Economics.
In 2004 he was the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award from Chowan College.
A resident of Williamsburg, Hatcher has three children: Jamie is a stockbroker with Smith & Barney in Newport News; John is a real estate broker and Director of Development for University Suites; and Blake is a student at Jamestown High School in Williamsburg.
His hobbies include; flying, boating, fishing, and travel. Throughout his career guiding this family-owned business, Hatcher has been known throughout the real estate industry as an aggressive and innovative professional who believes that professionalism is the key to success.
